gne obtains ISO14001 accreditation
gne Get the Green Light: ISO14001 Certification
27th July 2007
I am pleased to announce that at the first time of asking gne have attained ISO 14001:2004 accreditation, which represents an integral part of our drive to deliver a market leading environmental solution to our clients.
ISO14001 is the current Environmental Management System (EMS) standard, designed to help companies achieve consistent environmental compliance together with continuous improvements in environmental performance.
This certification was awarded by BSI Management Systems, an internationally recognised management certification body. Mr Stimson, Client Manager wrote to congratulate gne and stated:
“It is our hope that we can develop a close and continued relationship with your company. Through continued assessment, and our policy to continually develop and supply added value, market leading products and services, we aim to help you build a better business. Congratulations again on your success.”
ISO 14001 will further compliment and continue to strengthen our position as one of the most environmentally aware envelope companies in Europe, alongside our existing chain of custody accreditation for FSC & PEFC.
Warren Shermer, Managing Director, states “Our environmental proposition with the increased use of a range of papers, falling within the following categories; recycled, FSC & PEFC and the confidence to badge them as such, coupled by the knowledge that they have been supplied by a company operating a Environmental Management System is unique in the market place. Our continued commitment to improve our environmental proposition is vital to ensure our clients own commitment to the environment can be realised.”
