Leeds City Council Environmental Department visited gne on 21st May 2009.

The inspection was to ensure we are complying with our operating license, companies are rated as low, medium or high risk following the checks.

The result and comments following the inspection were are as follows:

"Great Northern Envelope Co Ltd is an installation under The Environmental Permitting (England & Wales) Regulations 2007. The permit is in place to control emissions that can harm the atmosphere or be a health hazard if not adequately controlled. This installation is well run and the company has consistently demonstrated full compliance with the permit conditions by submitting documentation and carrying out required emission monitoring on time. As a result the risk assessment carried out during the inspection has resulted in a 'low' rating given for the past two years." April Fisher, Environmental Health Officer
