Zip Wiring for Charity
A group of 9 very brave employees and 1 family member agreed to Zip Wire down 650ft from the top of Baitings Dam for The Anthony Nolan Trust...
17th April 2010
On Saturday 17th April Ian Mitchelson, Simon Franklin, Eddie Ream, John Rose, James Kelly, Darryl Parker, Chris Lomas, Lynn Brown, Rebecca Hobson & Claire all climbed up to the staggering 200ft start position and prepared to leap!
The zip wire was 650ft long and started at 200ft up. The view, I'm told, was great but the route out to the start point was a terrifying shuffle along a narrow ledge!
The team wanted to raise as much for The Anthony Nolan Trust as possible to help it's tremendous work for children fighting leukaemia. The Trust works tirelessly to match patients to donors. Through careful testing and analysis the best possible donors are matched to patients.

The gne Zip Wire Team managed to raise £1,105 for the Trust which is a fantastic way to provide help to such a worthy cause.
Well done to everyone who took part.
